Hmm, no, I don't think so.

The scary part? Hurricane season officially begins June 1st.

Update: The Washiington Post has an article here about the earmarking of Katrina recovery funds.

New Orleans. What about the parts of Texas, Alabama, etc. that got hit? I am sick of the MSM yapping endlessly about Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans.

There are many disasters all over the world that we never hear about. Our myopic, narcissistic, exclusivist orientation in the USA is repulsive, and the MSM feeds on it.

I think the people trying to "rebuild" in the path of future hurricanes, they are stupid.

I know people who live in Tornado Alley in Texas, and have no basement, no shelter from tornadoes.

Rebuiling New Orleans sounds just as stupid.
