Stupid stupid democrats can't say no

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: as an organization, the Democrats are not organized, plus, they're stupid. From the DLC to the fucking stupid Democratic Senators and Congressmen and women who voted for Bush's anti-labor, cruel and inhumane plans to turn America into a fucking corporate gulag, Democrats are stupid.

Think about it: your wonderful Bill Clinton campaigned long and hard for NAFTA. Remember that funny Texan who talked about "whoosing sounds" as our job base went South? Think Democrat Clinton.

But now we got the smirking Shrub, and the Democrats ain't doing shit.

Molly Ivans:

Why aren't Democrats standing up for regular people?

The unholy combination of theocracy and plutocracy that now rules this country is, in fact, enabled by dumb liberals. Many a weary liberal on the Internet and elsewhere has been involved in the tedious study of the entrails from the last election, trying to figure out where Democrats went wrong. I don't have a dog in that fight, but I can guarantee you where they're going wrong for the next election: 73 Democratic House members and 18 Democratic senators voted for that hideous bankruptcy "reform" bill that absolutely screws regular people.

And it's not just consumers who were screwed by the lobbyist-written bill. The Wall Street Journal shows small businesses are also getting the shaft, as the finance industry charges them higher and higher transaction fees. If Democrats aren't going to stand up for regular people, to hell with them.

Democrats in both the House and the Senate have been making whimpering noises recently about "compromise." Listen up, jackoffs: you can't compromise with Satan. The Republicans, with Bush as party leader, are spawns of the Devil and they are eating our babies alive as we speak.

Whatever the Republicans want, whatever, say NONONONO_ fucking_ NO.

Coulter caught with mouthfull

This just in:

Ann Coulter was spotted today emerging from the offices of a well-known K Street corporate shill whose name begins with "A," wearing a blue, sperm-soaked dress, and sobbing uncontrollably. As she ducked into a waiting limo, our man on the scene was roughly shoved aside by an orangutang dressed as a chauffer, but he managed to fire off one probing question before he was thrown to the sidewalk and savagely beaten by Ms Coulter's protector:

"How about it, spermbreath? Was it good for you, too?"

Ms Coulter slammed the door and the limo sped off before our man could get his tape recorder (now badly mangled) to spool up. He reports that he thinks she said "I'm not a blowhard!," but he won't swear to this.

Condi's still a lying liar

Ah, the hits just keep on coming. This just in from overseas, cause you can't get real news from the National Desk anymore.

Rice changed terrorism report

Julian Borger

04/23/05 "The Guardian" - - A state department report which showed an increase in terrorism incidents around the world in 2004 was altered to strip it of its pessimistic statistics, it emerged yesterday.

The country-by-country report, Patterns of Global Terrorism, has come out every year since 1986, accompanied by statistical tables.

This year's edition showed a big increase, from 172 significant terrorist attacks in 2003 to 655 in 2004.

Much of the increase took place in Iraq, contradicting recent Pentagon claims that the insurgency there is waning.

Condoleezza Rice, the secretary of state, ordered the report to be withdrawn and a new one issued minus the statistics.

A Democratic congressman, Henry Waxman, has written an angry letter about the change to Cameron Hume, the state department's inspector general, arguing that Ms Rice's decision "denies the public access to important information about the incidence of terrorism".

Mr Waxman said: "There appears to be a pattern in the administration's approach to terrorism data: favourable facts are revealed while unfavourable facts are suppressed."

Ms Rice's spokesman, Richard Boucher, denied the change was politically inspired and said Ms Rice had decided the statistics would be better handled by the national counter-terrorism centre.

However, intelligence officials said there were no immediate plans to publish the figures.

Really; why bother? It's just going to show that terrorism has increased since Bush assumed office.

The journalists are still dying

Focus English News is reporting that the AP Bureau Chief in Mosul has just been killed:
According to the information the journalist was killed while he was performing his work duties, in exchange of fire between US soldiers and Iraqi insurgents.
Friendly fucking fire, my ass.
